This blog is a new and essential part of the programme which brings forward news from the programme and provides readers with insightful interviews with our students, researchers and teachers. We aim to raise awareness and interest towards our programme through this blog.
Our Master’s Degree Programme is a unique combination of international business and sales management and it provides in-depth understanding of the global business environment and firms’ approaches to doing business and sales across borders. The next semester for the new students selected for the programme will start in Autumn 2018. This is a multidisciplinary two-year programme which is designed for both Finnish and international students so that people with different backgrounds come to study and learn together how to operate successfully in challenging business environments. The programme seeks to attract students from all over the world. Also, Finnish students with a relevant Bachelor’s degree, who are interested in international business and sales, are welcome to the programme.
Our Master’s programme emphasizes three core themes: internationalization, business-to-business sales, and cross-cultural communication. The content of the programme rests on the latest theoretical findings and case exercises, group work and collaboration between peer students, staff and B2B companies. Internationally distinguished academics will bring their state-of-the-art knowledge to the programme and companies will provide real life case projects to ensure that education is also practical. The competence gained through the programme will open up numerous career opportunities, for example, in international business expert, consultant, sales, account, marketing or strategic management positions at local, national, international and global levels.
